According to multiple sources,we regret to advise you that a Firefighter with the Easton Volunteer Fire Company (CT) was killed in the Line of Duty after a tree fall. Initial reports are that the tree fell on or near the fire apparatus in Easton on Judd Road. Area companies have sent mutual aid to assist Easton, including a task force from the Hartford area that came to Southwestern Connecticut to provide pre-support. Easton is located in Fairfield County.
