Up to a dozen London Fire Brigade Firefighters who operated at the deadly 2017 Grenfell Tower fire have been diagnosed with terminal cancer. According to reports, the cancers are understood to be mainly digestive cancers and leukaemia. Our prayers go out to all affected by this situation.
Like nearly all fires that Firefighters worldwide respond to daily, the smoke is deadly-sometimes immediately-sometimes it’s a ticking time bomb. This is another grim reminder of how bad conditions are for Firefighters operating then-and now in 2023.

4 Firefighters were injured in Mill Creek, New Castle County, near Wilmington, DE yesterday following a collapse at a working townhouse fire. While their injuries are non-life-threatening, at least one is in “serious” condition due to the nature of his burns.

ILLINOIS MEDICS CHARGED WITH ON DUTY MURDER:
2 EMT’s are charged with murder after they strapped an Illinois man to a stretcher facedown and he died of asphyxia less than an hour later.
EMT’s Peggy Jill Finley and Peter J. Cadigan arrived 0218 hours on Dec. 18 at the Springfield home where patient Earl L. Moore was suffering from alcohol withdrawal as as the video shops, he was an inconvinenice, not a patient.
The patient was suffering from withdrawal hallucinations so the officers requested an ambulance. Finley and Cadigan responded to the home but did not bring a stretcher inside or offer to assist Moore, who was unable to walk by himself.
During the incident, captured by police body cameras, Finley told a distressed Moore that, “you’re going to have to walk because we ain’t carrying you” and “I am seriously not in the mood for this.”

==ARKANSAS PARAMEDIC KILLED, OTHER INJURED IN THE LINE OF DUTY:
A Southern Paramedic Ambulance was involved in an accident early Tuesday morning, January 10, in an isolated area near Brinkley, AR killing the Emergency Vehicle Operator, Elizabeth (Liz) Watkins 25.. Another EMT Jonathan (J.J.) Johnson 27 was injured in the accident and taken to a Memphis Hospital. The crash occurred while the ambulance was moving from their station in Hazen, AR to Brinkley, AR. The cause of the crash is not known. However, the investigation is in its early stages. Our condolences to all those affected. Rest In Peace.
