BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA: FIREFIGHTER KILLED WHILE RESPONDING
We regret to advise you that a Lone Butte Volunteer Fire Department member was killed in a motor vehicle crash today. Initial reports are that the member was responding to the firehouse, for a structural/ chimney fire, and was fatally injured in a two vehicle crash as he was nearing the firehouse. The Lone Butte Firefighters responded to the incident discovering it was involving their own member. We’ll post more details and updates later.
As always, our most sincere condolences to all affected.
