Fire crews were called to a vacant house fire Sunday afternoon on the city’s east side.
The fire started on the first floor of the house, located at 805 East Eagle, and spread to the second floor.
One firefighter is recovering at ECMC following the fire. The extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.
While crews were on the scene, they were called to another house fire only a few miles away. Officials say a fire broke out at two-story occupied home located at 69 Woeppel.
