All,
There was another fatal fire department EMS crash this week, when a 21-year-old Fond du Lac (Wisconsin) man died Tuesday in a crash with a Fond du lac Fire Department ambulance.
The man was a passenger in a car that did not stop for red light around 0430 hours at an intersection. The driver of the car, 28, was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated. He had life-threatening injuries and was taken by helicopter to Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah. The ambulance was headed east, taking a patient to St. Agnes Hospital for a non-emergency when it was hit by a northbound vehicle at the intersection. Fire Paramedics called for help and, although injured, they rendered care to people in the crash
