FDIC IS IN THE AIR….

FIRE DEPARTMENT INSTRUCTORS CONFERENCE
If you’re not yet registered, now would be a good time. If you’ve never been, this is a bucket list item that will have you returning year after year. My first was in Memphis, in 1977 and the learning never ends.
Here are links for you as well as “all about” the programs: https://www.fdic.com/
“30 FIRES” AT FDIC 2025.
Specifically, regarding questions some have asked about 30 Fires and FDIC, Frank and I are doing a pre-con program “30 Fires You Must Know” on Tuesday, April 08 from 0800-1200 Hours as well as a “30 Fires You Must Know” book signing (with several; of the book contributors joining us) on Friday morning at the FDIC Bookstore from 10-12 noon. We look forward to seeing you in helping raise funds through the sale of the book, as all royalties go to 4 important fire service charities:
TUNNEL TO TOWERS FOUNDATION
FIREFIGHTER CANCER SUPPORT NETWORK
CHIEF RAY DOWNEY SCHOLARSHIP
FIRST RESPONDER CENTER OF EXCELLENCE
PS: WHEN TRAVELING TO FDIC (from the east), we encourage you to stop by COMPANY 7 BAR=B-QUE. Owned by a Firefighting family (Bill & Mary Grilliot, the original Morning Pride Bunker Gear Mfg’s). It’s located just feet from I-70 (in the Dayton Ohio area). We share this as the Grilliots, their business, and their family have decades of giving back to the fire service-and besides, it’s eating awesome BBQ in a fire museum:
