An EMS rig and an ambulance transporting a patient to a hospital collided with a vehicle early Thursday morning on Glenwood Park Avenue.
The accident occurred at about 2:15 a.m. when a vehicle pulled out of a parking lot at Glenwood Towers, 4601 Glenwood Park Ave., and collided with the two emergency vehicles traveling on Glenwood Park Avenue, dispatchers said.
A Union City ambulance and an EmergyCare rig had been en route to a hospital with a patient after responding to a medical call in Union City.
Dispatchers said two people were taken to a hospital to be evaluated but did not suffer any injuries.
Another ambulance was called to the scene to transport the patient.
