Family, friends and fellow emergency responders say good-bye to an Illinois man who died while helping someone else.
The funeral for 52-year-old Rick Poorman took place in West Union Illinois this morning.
The ambulance he was riding in Saturday night was hit by another vehicle as Poorman helped a patient in the back.
Emergency workers from various parts of Illinois turned out to honor Poorman at the service.
Almost 30 fire trucks and ambulances lead the procession to the cemetery.
A passenger in the vehicle that hit the ambulance also died. Two other people were seriously injured including the patient in the back of the ambulance.
