ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — UPDATE | A pickup truck driver is now being cited for crashing into an ambulance head on.
Reading Township Police say the driver of the truck swerved to avoid rear ending a vehicle that was in traffic, sideswiping a different vehicle in the process.
After this, officers state the pickup then slammed into an oncoming UPMC ambulance, head on.
Two people in the ambulance were sent to UPMC Hanover for minor injuries while the pickup driver was self transported to WellSpan Gettysburg for minor injuries.

According to emergency dispatch, the wreck first happened on Stoney Point Rd. and East Berlin Rd. at around 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday.
Authorities report that an unknown amount of people were injured, but those injuries are luckily only minor.
The roadway opened at around 8:28 a.m.
Reading Township Police are investigating the cause.
