A ramp off Route 3 South in Weymouth was shut down this morning after a three-car crash involving an ambulance, a car and a box truck.
An ambulance responding to a roll-over on the Route 18 South ramp off Route 3 in was struck by a box truck, causing both vehicles to roll over, said State Police Sgt. Dave Mahan. The crash occurred just after 8 a.m. today.
State Police are investigating.
The crash has caused the closure of the Route 18 South ramp, but Route 3 South remains open, Mahan said.
