A crew of Milton firefighters were lucky to escape serious injuries,after the windshield of their pumper truck was smashed by a falling tree,with one branch ending up inches away from the firefighter inside driving.
The crew of firefighters were returning to their hall,after responding to another call for wires down in rural Campbellville,when the tree came crashing down on them on Guelph Line,just north of Derry Road.
Luckily no was injured,although the fire truck had to towed away with substantial frontend damage
