A volunteer Firefighter has died of a suspected heart attack while battling a blaze on the New South Wales South Coast. The Rural Fire Service Firefighter suffered a suspected heart attack this afternoon while he was extinguishing a vehicle fire at a camp ground in the remote Deua National Park, 100km from Bateman’s Bay. The man was given medical assistance by colleagues and ambulance officers but was not able to be revived. Our condolences to all those affected. RIP.
