The family of Charlotte Firefighter Jeffrey Hager already had to deal with losing him to COVID. Now his wife has died as well, leaving behind four children, the youngest of whom is just six years old.
Jeff died on 9/11/2021, and had served for several years with both the Charlotte Fire Department and the Huntersville Fire Departments.
Just over a week later, his wife Amee also lost her fight against the virus and died Friday.

A fire driver for the Durham Fire Department has passed away from COVID-19 after battling the virus for around a month. He lost the battle yesterday.
FF Klemm had served with the Durham FD since 2006, and had been promoted to fire driver just last year. He was assigned to Engine 8. He is survived by his mother, brother, sons and step sons.
=ALICE, TEXAS FIREFIGHTER DIES FROM COVID RELATED DISEASE.
Alice (Texas) Firefighter Robert Liguez died Friday after a short sickness. Liguez was recently hospitalized after contracting COVID-19. He dedicated 27 years to the City of Alice, 21 of those years as a Firefighter. Army veteran, Firefighter Robert Liguez leaves behind a family with 6 children and 7 grandchildren.
