GREENVILLE, SC —
Four cars, including an ambulance, were involved in a chain reaction accident in the city of Greenville Wednesday evening.
The accident happened at the intersection of Chick Springs Road and Wade Hampton Boulevard just before 6:30 pm. According to Lt. Thomas with the Greenville City Police Department, a vehicle attempting to make a left turn from the middle lane into the far left lane triggered the accident, in which two of the vehicles were struck from behind, including one by an ambulance.
Thomas said charges off following too close were filed against a pair of drivers and there were no significant injuries involved.
