Attached are pictures from the accident today. The pictures get
progressively frightening, especially the one showing the log through the
passenger side headrest. Thankfully there was no one in the seat as the
crew member was in the back with the patient.
Current status is that one crew member should be discharged shortly. The
patient should be discharged as well. The driver has just had a CT scan of
his head and the expectation is that it will be negative and we anticipate
his release at some point today or tonight.
Operationally we have some challenges as we do not have a reserve ambulance.
We working on that while balancing the more important things concerning the
health and well being of our crew and the patient.
We give thanks to God for sparing their lives today. Scary. Please pray
for all involved as they deal with the physical and emotional trauma of the
day.
