A Bossier trauma unit is damaged, police say, after a driver tried to pass traffic stopped for the ambulance the intersection of Barksdale and McDade.
No one was injured in the collision, but another Bossier Rescue unit had to be called to the scene to take the patient from the first ambulance, which was on the way to the hospital when it was hit.
The driver of the Honda Civic that struck the ambulance will be cited for failure to yield.
