Two emergency medical technicians were injured Friday when the ambulance they were riding in overturned in Midtown Manhattan.
Fire officials say the incident happened at Lexington Avenue and 57th Street Friday afternoon.
One witness told NY1 a green van clipped the back of the New York-Presbyterian ambulance, causing it to flip.
“I heard a crash, I looked out the window, I saw the ambulance go airborne, land on its side and then drag across the street,” recalled the witness.
Fire officials say three people were taken to Cornell Medical Center with serious injuries. One person was taken to Bellevue hospital with minor injuries.
