WESTERLY, R.I. (WPRI) – Officials in Westerly are investigating an ambulance crash.
The Westerly Sun reported the collision happened early Monday morning, near Route 3 and Upper High Street. The ambulance had been taking a patient to a nursing home.
Crews requested additional ambulances to the scene of the collision, but there were no further details about injuries, or if the ambulance collided with another vehicle.
