MANCHESTER (WRCB) — Check out these pictures of an Ambulance that collided Monday with a T DOT Truck on I-24 in Manchester.
A truck driver who took these photos says the ambulance barely missed one T-DOT truck then hit a second T-DOT truck and the ambulance exploded. The truck driver was travelling behind and says he drove his rig across the median to avoid hitting them.
The truck driver says he stopped to help and went to the back of the ambulance but could not see anyone in the back. Then he says he saw the patient under boards and glass and he saw the injured paramedic. Both paramedics and the patient were transported to the hospital.
