“The other day I was out for a walk. I began to feel tightness in my chest and some shortness of breath. I stopped and sat; the pressure went away. It did not seem to fit the description of a heart attack. So I continued walking home. At home, I sat for a while. Something didn’t feel right. I was tired. So what did I do? Did I listen to what was told to others to do? The answer is NO. I went to bed. The next morning things still weren’t right. Fortunately, I woke up. So I went to work. Still not “feeling well” I decided to call my cardiologist and went to the Doctor’s office. After the visit and the direct order from my Chief (AKA Wife), we went to the hospital. The ER Doc said I was very lucky. I suffered a heart attack. The next day I received a Cardiac Catheterization. A major artery had a 99% block and two others had a less severe block. The doctor put a stent in to open the artery.”
“I hit the lottery! I’m here to talk about it. I know a recent case where he was not as lucky. And there are others.”
