All,
The Chief of Neptune Township EMS Chief Bil Rosen collapsed and died suddenly on duty Monday morning. The Chief was 59. NJEMS Task Force President Mike Bascom announced Rosen’s death in a social media post.
Chief Rosen had just finished setting up equipment at a youth emergency services camp and speaking with his crew when he collapsed at around 0800 hours. Nearby first responders quickly rushed to provide life-saving measures before he was taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Rosen’s wife Kristin asked that donations in Bil’s memory be made to the Shark River Hills First Aid Squad or the NJ EMS Task Force to support their mental health resilience and peer support programs:
Our condolences to all those affected. Rest In Peace.
