WEST VIRGINIA FIREFIGHTER INJURED IN COLLAPSE – PHOTOS/VIDEO

On 03-18-2025 at approximately 0130 hours, while battling a 3-story apartment building fire, I was injured after a brick exterior wall collapsed with me directly under it. I suffered a C7 fracture (broken neck), a dislocated jaw, a severe concussion, and injured my right knee. I was transported to a trauma center where my wife is a registered nurse in the ER. I spent time in the neuro trauma ICU and on a neurology floor. I was released from the hospital after only a couple of days to the care of my wife, and I spent 2 months in a neck brace and 2 months in physical therapy.
