PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A critically injured motorcyclist being rushed by ambulance after a crash in Northeast Portland died at the hospital after the ambulance was also involved in a separate crash Tuesday afternoon.
The first crash between the motorcyclist and a vehicle happened around 3:45 p.m. near NE 15th and Lombard, Portland police said. The ambulance arrived at the scene and began its trip to a nearby hospital.
The vehicle driver in the first crash was also taken to the hospital for treatment of what were described by police as minor injuries.
