One woman is hurt after a vehicle crash involving a Newport News ambulance Monday morning, police said.
According to officials, just before 8:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Oyster Point Road for reports of a crash involving an ambulance and another vehicle.
Police said the driver of the second vehicle, a woman, was transferred to a local hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing. No additional information has been released.
