Two Fargo Firefighters who were trapped on the third floor of the burning Galleria Apartments Monday night say it was their survival training that got them out safely. Captain Keith Johnson and Firefighter Josh Christofferson were attempting to knock a hole in the ceiling to attack the flames when a ceiling fell on them, knocking Johnson back and trapping Christopfferson in a bedroom. Christofferson called out a "Mayday" on his radio for help and firefighters on the ground were able to get a ladder to the window and he escaped. Johnson got out with the help of another hose crew that was behind him. Investigators are still looking for the cause of the five alarm fire that left 150 people homeless.
