One firefighter was injured when he fell through the second floor of a home damaged by flames and smoke Thursday evening. There are reports significant smoke and heavy damage to the upper rear of the structure. He was told, however, that no one was home at the time the fire began.
The injured Lakeside firefighter was reportedly treated by EMS on the scene and did not require transport to a hospital.
