Police are investigating an accident involving an ambulance in Northampton, Northampton County. The county communications center tells us a Northampton Regional EMS ambulance crashed at 9th and Main streets in the borough at 1:30 this afternoon. We’re told there were injuries, although dispatchers don’t know their extent. Main Street was closed between 9th and 10th streets. It has since been reopened.
