A Tampa Fire-Rescue firefighter sustain a minor burn as he battled a house fire in Tampa on Sunday evening.
According to officials, no one was in the home at 3222 E. Lindell Ave. when firefighters forced their way into the burning structure.
The firefighter sustained a minor burn to his knee and was transported to Tampa General Hospital.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause and origin of the fire. No damage estimates were known at this time. Investigators have been trying to contact the owner of the home.
The name of the injured firefighter is not being released at this time.
