One man is dead after a crash between a motorcycle and ambulance in East Meadow on Monday.
Police say at 6:48 a.m., Jeffrey Paz, 39, of Levittown, was riding a 2008, Suzuki motorcycle when he was involved in an intersection collision with a private ambulance that was utilizing it’s emergency lights and siren and actively engaged in an emergency transport at the time of the accident.
Paz was transported by police ambulance to a local area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced a short time later.
