A newly hired Firefighter was injured while he was in training at a fire training facility in St. Louis. East St Louis (IL) FF Trainee Bobby Cole Jr., 27, was in training Wednesday when he was pinned between a moving fire apparatus and a wall. He suffered a broken pelvis and has serious internal injuries. His Dad, Bobby Cole Sr., a police captain at the East St. Louis Police Department, said his son is in the intensive care unit at St. Louis University Hospital and is expected to live-but has a very long road ahead of him.
