Three people are hurt after an ambulance and a fire engine collide while both were responding to the same call.
The accident happened about 2:30 Sunday afternoon at 6th and Hart Streets in Vincennes.
Police tell us the fire engine was running a red light at the intersection, and collided with a Knox County EMS Ambulance.
Three people were hurt.
But it’s not clear if all of the injured were aboard the ambulance.
Both the fire engine and ambulance were responding to a fire that was called in from 316 Broadway in Vincennes.
The accident knocked out a utility pole and power to the area for a short time.
Vincennes police say they will release more information at a later time.
