Three people were treated in Union Hospital at Dover after two accidents Tuesday about 8:19 a.m., one involving an ambulance.
State troopers were called after two cars involved in an accident had pulled to the side of I-77 near the northbound on-ramp at Dover.
At that point, an ambulance taking a person from West Virginia to Cleveland side-swiped a car on the road and then hit the rear of one of the parked cars on the berm.
None of the injuries appeared to be serious, and the person in the ambulance is not believed to have been injured from the crash, officers said.
Smith Ambulance and ambulance crews from Dover and New Philadelphia fire departments each transported one of the three injured people to the hospital.
The accidents remain under investigation, and no further details were available.
