2 volunteer Firefighters were critically injured Thursday when a tanker truck from the Ingalls Volunteer Fire Department crashed on Highway 51, about 10 miles east of Stillwater, Oklahoma, after a tire failure caused it to leave the roadway.
The tanker, fully loaded with water and reported to be returning from a run, suffered a catastrophic failure of a front steering tire. The failure caused the truck to crash through guardrails, roll over, and come to rest in a wooded area. Will keep you advised on their recovery progress.
