All,
A very tough day in south Florida today as 3 Pompano Beach Firefighters, were injured in a multi-vehicle crash.
This is in addition to the crash just north of Pompano Beach where 2 Palm Beach County Deputy Sheriffs lost their lives when they were struck.
This later crash happened on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Pompano Beach, at around 1730, today, Thursday. 3 PBFR Firefighters were transported to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
In another car, one person tragically died, while another person was rushed by Pompano Beach Fire Rescue in critical condition.
The photo shows the front-end of the rescue medic apparatus damaged, as well as a large hauling truck with extensive damage.
One unconfirmed report is that the Pompano Beach Fire Rescue crew was transporting a patient at the time. KTIYP’s.
Take Care. Be Careful. Pass It On.
