ELKTON, Md. — Firefighters said two firefighters were hurt battling a fire that ruined a house near Elkton. It was reported about 5 p.m. Sunday yesterday in the first block of Woodholme Way. One firefighter suffered a head injury from a falling floor joist and another needed treatment for heat exhaustion. The state Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
