UPDATE (10:37 p.m.): Mobile Fire Rescue says flames were coming from the roof of Jaguar Cleaners & Laundromat when they arrived on scene. The fire was put out at 9:46 p.m., according to the incident command but crews are still on the scene accessing hot spots.

In a news release, Mobile-Fire Rescue reported they arrived to the scene just before 8 p.m. on Saturday. The fire quickly turned into a 3-alarm response.

While MFRD worked to control the fire, a firefighter fell from the edge of the roof and had to be transported to the hospital.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
