A fire apparatus responding to a call in Rheingau, Germany, left the road and rolled down an embankment Monday morning, coming to rest against a tree.
The fire/rescue crews responding to the wreck tied it off and stabilized the truck so that it wouldn’t continue its journey down the long embankment.
The small pumper from the Lorch fire brigade had three firefiighters on board, but none were seriously injured. All three were transported and treated for minor injuries.
The truck sustained an estimated 100,000-Euros damage.
