I was on the nozzle in a 2nd floor bedroom working a 1.5 attack line spraying water through a opening already in the ceiling. When the ceiling by the door fell in knocking me in the head. I then made my way down the stairs to the front door where I passed out according to the guys outside. I was then transported to the hospital along with a fellow firefighter who had a wall fall and fracture his shoulder.
I learned that before attacking the fire in the room we should have pulled down the remaining ceiling.
