Books We Like

There are tons of “fire” related books out there. Some are good-others are better…and some are not FIRE related but are good reads. There are several ways to get these books–however, we have had excellent luck in the past in dealing with these vendors and they carry almost all of these books:

  • FSP Books and Videos
  • Our Designs
  • Fire Engineering Books
  • Firefighters Bookstore

Also be sure to check out this EXCELLENT ARTICLE…
“Ten Firefighting Books To Keep You Safe!” by Chip Comstock

Here are some books we think you might like to check out:

  • Building Construction for the Fire Service by Frank Brannigan
    Available at fbrannigan@comcast.net
  • FIRST IN-LAST OUT: Leadership Lessons from the New York Fire Department by John Salka
Available at Barnes and Noble, Borders and Amazon
  • INCIDENT COMMAND for the Street Smart Fire Officer by John “Skip” Coleman Available at http://www.fireengineeringbooks.com/
