An ambulance bound for a Billings hospital collided with a minivan Friday.
The wreck occurred about 2:16 p.m. at Moore Lane and Laurel Road, police said.
The ambulance, which was transporting a patient from Red Lodge, was eastbound on Laurel Road with its lights and siren activated when it entered the intersection and collided with the minivan, which was headed north on Moore Lane, Billings Police Sgt. Ross Adams said.
The ambulance hit the driver’s side of the minivan. A man and a girl from the minivan were taken to a Billings hospital. The patient from the Red Lodge ambulance was also hospitalized. None of the injuries suffered in the collision appeared to be life-threatening, Adams said. The wreck remains under investigation. No citations were issued.
