Three members of an Arlington ambulance crew were injured Tuesday morning after a pickup truck crashed into the back of their vehicle in Grand Prairie, officials said. No patients were onboard, an ambulance spokesperson said. However, the crew was taken to Dallas Methodist Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, said Robert Hurst, a spokesman for American Medical Response. The ambulance was westbound at the intersection of South MacArthur Boulevard at the Interstate 30 access road around 11 a.m. when a pickup truck hit it. The driver of the pickup also was taken to the hospital, but his condition was unknown Tuesday morning, Hurst said.
