Three firefighters were injured in the fatal Bethlehem Township house fire Friday night.
Two of the firefighters from the Nancy Run Fire Department suffered second-degree burns in the fire at 3722 Ironstone Rd.
Officials said the pair were inside the home when “conditions deteriorated rapidly” and they escaped through a bay window on the front of the home.
Both were treated at the burn unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, fire officials said. One was released Saturday, while the other remained hospitalized, but could be relased as early as Sunday.
A third firefighter suffered smoke inhalation, and was treated and released Friday.
