The 2017 A. Michael Mullane Firefighter Health and Safety Symposium addresses fire fighter occupational safety, health and surivival issues and provides the knowledge and tools necessary to keep fire fighters and paramedics safe, now and in the future.
An expanded line-up of sessions includes critical topics such as fire fighter health and safety, cancer research and treatment, operations, active shooter, behavioral health and more.
The registration fee of just $200 includes 2 days of top-notch education, networking opportunities, and national and regional vendor exhibits. Registration also includes breaks and lunch on both days.

The Symposium is named in honor of the late 3rd District Vice President A. Michael Mullane. He was the longest-serving member of the IAFF Executive Board, representing IAFF members in the 3rd District for more than 30 years. This event carries forward his legacy by providing all fire fighters the health and safety information they need for a long and prosperous career in this great profession. The Symposium is hosted by the Boston Fire Department, Boston Firefighters – Local 718, and the International Association of Fire Fighters.
