The New York Daily News:
A raging Queens house fire killed three people trapped by the flames and injured eight more during a party Saturday night, according to fire officials and neighbors.
Firefighters pulled 11 people from the fast-moving blaze that gutted a two-story home on 211st St. near 93rd Ave. in Queens Village just before midnight. Some of the victims, whose ages ranged from 6 to 87, had visible burns to their body.
Two women, ages 82 and 32, and an 87-year-old man were rushed to Queens Hospital Center, Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Jamaica Hospital, where all three died.
One of the youngest victims — an 8-year-old girl — was among three people critically hurt in the fire. Four people, including a 6-year-old boy, are in stable condition, police and fire officials said.
About 140 firefighters tackled the three-alarm blaze, which burned for about a half hour.
