A Utica firefighter was injured while fighting a fire at the Birnie Bus Company early Tuesday morning, according to the Utica Fire Department.
At about 3:42 a.m., officials responded to a structure fire at 2245 Dwyer Ave., officials said, where they saw smoke from the roof of the structure.
Officials said that the fire originated in a bus and the fire was contained to the bus and the contents of the structure.
The fire is still under investigation, officials said.
The Utica Police Department and National Grid also assisted on the scene.
