Saturday, February 21, 2009 This accident occured in the City of Atlanta taken by Grady EMS Captain. Dr. Jeff Salomone (Grady Trauma Surgery) & Dr. Dan Wu (Grady Emergency Medicine, front of picture) on scene with Atlanta Fire Rescue and Grady EMS.

Pt underwent a long and careful extrication with surgical support/direction on site.  The driver was impaled in the neck.  The patient was sedated with ketamine during the lengthy extrication and transported to Grady.
