Wednesday, March 20, 2013 Crews in Hazleton responded to a fire at a home Tuesday.

It broke out after 1 p.m. in the 400 block of Keifer Avenue.

Authorities said smoke and flames were reported coming from the third floor of the house.

Hazleton’s Fire Chief said that a firefighter was flown to Geisinger Wyoming Valley after he fell through a floor inside the burning home, but he was treated and released from the hospital several hours later.
