SEAN BATURA SOURCE: KERRVILLE DAILY TIMES, TEXAS
Raymond C. O'Bryant, 95, a patient carried by an ambulance that was involved in a three-vehicle wreck on a rainy day last week, has since died. The wreck, which occurred shortly after 2 p.m. on Jan. 8 on Bandera Highway, also killed 59-year-old Glenn Sellars, who died the day of the wreck.
According to wreck investigators, Sellars was driving a late model Mustang south on Bandera Highway about a quarter of a mile north of the East Verde Creek Road. He veered into the northbound lane, hit a late model Toyota Tacoma and then hit a Bandera County EMS ambulance.
Sellars, of Fredericksburg, was taken to Peterson Regional Medical Center and died that afternoon. O'Bryant, from Del Rio, was a patient in the ambulance and was taken to Peterson along with Bandera County EMS personnel Katherine Richardson and Texas Randall.
O'Bryant died Jan. 9. The driver of the Tacoma, Timothy Lee Jones of Center Point, had minor injuries and arranged for his own transportation to the hospital.
Lisa Winters, hospital spokeswoman, declined to release any information about the condition of the wreck victims. The Texas Department of Public Safety trooper investigating the wreck was not immediately available to comment on the status of the investigation.
