Wednesday, January 16, 2013 0758 today  Union Fire Co/Oxford & mutual aid companies responded to a building fire at a State Univ.  Reported as an unoccupied 3 story residential bldg, smoke from  windows.  First arrival report, smoke from 2nd fl windows, possible furnace malfunction, updated to working basement fire with extension into upper floors.  A working fire dispatch was immediately followed by a 2nd alarm.  Shortly afterward a mayday was declared, with extrication and removal by 1st alarm crews.  One FF through floor, transported with NLT injuries, poss smoke inhalation.
