SWISSVALE, Pa. —An arrest has been made in the alleged theft of an ambulance that was found overnight, more than 20 miles away.

The ambulance was taken Tuesday night from the Swissvale fire station on Roslyn Street, according to Allegheny County 911.
The Eastern Area PreHospital Service ambulance was recovered early Wednesday morning in Rostraver Township, Westmoreland County.
Rostraver police said Jonathan David Miracle was standing outside the ambulance and trying to get gas at a convenience store at Route 51 and Interstate 70 at about 2:20 a.m. in Rostraver.
The 19-year-old homeless man admitted taking the ambulance and is awaiting arraignment on a charge of receiving stolen property, police said.
Police tell the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (http://bit.ly/VGp0bM ) that the ambulance was properly stocked with equipment when officers arrived.
State police in Greensburg were also questioning Miracle about a reported hit-and-run on Route 119 in the Youngwood area, according to Rostraver police
